终于也让我赶上一回了。
Icy roads, high winds and a blizzard warning from the National Weather Service prompted the cancellations. The Iowa Department of Transportation announced it would be closing Interstate 35, north of Highway 30 in Ames.
A decision regarding the status of Friday's classes will be made later and posted on the university's web site at www.iastate.edu, as well as communicated to area media.

I was in school that morning and held my office hours at 11. Only one student came up, though I expected none. And I heard that the afternoon classes are canceled and presumably, as it should, the afternoon office hours should be canceled with the classes. So I went home, though I was supposed to substitute the other 531 TA for the afternoon office hour. Early in the evening, the other TA sent email saying that a lot of students complained that they couldn't find the TA during office hours. It wasn't an easy homework, nor was it postponed.
